New functionality improves patient engagement by providing enhanced results reporting and women’s imaging tracking for radiologists
Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 8, 2015
IDS announced today updates to AbbaDox RIS, a cloud software application designed for radiology and diagnostic imaging centers. AbbaDox RIS now features a mammography workflow for those practices offering women’s imaging services. In addition to performance improvements, the update includes new capabilities for radiologic technologists and an online appointment request module for patients.
“Anytime we can add functionality to improve the diagnostic process, we consider it a Triple Crown win,” said Yaniv Dagan, CEO of IDS. “The new features in our technology allow patients to benefit from more informed, faster interpretations, and quicker results turnaround due to software enhancements. Radiologists and imaging center staff improve workflows and quickly compare and track diagnostic findings, and we win by playing an instrumental role as a technology provider impacting care quality and outcomes.”
The integrated mammography module:
- Tracks key data elements, such as BIRADS, breast density and laterality, as well as pathology and exam results.
- Pre-populates patient demographic data.
- Supports patient follow-up and analytics for national database reporting.
- Allows technologists to view referring physicians’ comments, capture image and series counts and edit key data fields.
Launched in 2013, AbbaDox RIS is a comprehensive enterprise imaging practice management solution that seamlessly integrates with PACS, EHR, HIS and other systems. The intuitive scheduler supports both small and large operations and those needing centralized scheduling for multiple locations or multi-procedure testing. The system offers patient visit tracking, patient eligibility verification, color-coded and drag-and-drop functionality, automated forms management with scanning and barcoding, modality worklists, certified EHR, online portals, and DICOM image sharing.
AbbaDox RIS is one in a suite of applications hosted on the AbbaDox health information management platform. IDS will demonstrate AbbaDox RIS at the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) 2015 Radiology Summit in Las Vegas, NV, June 7-10.
