For centralized scheduling, automated results delivery and enhanced patient experience
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL ― March 6, 2017 ― IDS, a leader in healthcare cloud information management services, today announced Diagnostic Imaging Services (DIS), the largest independent outpatient imaging provider in Louisiana, has selected AbbaDox RIS for its seven outpatient centers in the greater New Orleans and Northshore metropolitan areas. The cloud application will improve scheduling, registration, and other administrative and clinical workflows. Most importantly, it will improve results delivery and patient experience.
DIS offers a comprehensive array of diagnostic services with expertise in neurological, thoracic, gynecological, interventional and musculoskeletal imaging across a full suite of imaging modalities. There are 13 board-certified radiologists supporting DIS.
A client of IDS since 2011, DIS has been using Voice2Dox, IDS’s radiology reporting and speech recognition platform and results distribution, and AbbaDox CRM to better manage and increase referrals. Deploying AbbaDox RIS will provide DIS with a comprehensive, flexible and seamlessly integrated solution to run the imaging centers in a more cohesive and efficient manner. Utilizing the AbbaDox Cloud platform, the technology will allow DIS leadership to customize office workflows, including scheduling, for each location and the diagnostic services specific to each. It will allow office staff to be more responsive to patients for all touch points from scheduling an appointment to tracking visit status and follow up. Patients also will benefit from the ultra-fast, automated results delivery coupled with access to their diagnostic images.
“AbbaDox RIS was a logical choice for us,” said CEO Michael Holmes. “IDS has proven to be an innovative and reliable technology provider. Their cloud applications and services offer technology that aligns with our growth strategy and aim to provide the best patient care possible. Moreover, they are always very receptive to listen to our needs and adapt their solutions to maximize efficiency and productivity in our imaging practice.”
“We are pleased to expand our relationship with DIS as they evolve, grow and dominate the outpatient imaging market,” said CEO Yaniv Dagan. “It is gratifying to know that a key client, who recognizes the tectonic changes in healthcare, is ready to transform operations by adopting modern technologies including mission-critical applications that demonstrate real value.”
